Safeonline has created an insurance product to meet the needs of today’s Technology Professionals. This product is a combined Technology, Media and Professional Liability Errors and Omissions policy that includes Commercial General Liability providing broad coverage under one form. Underwriters are also happy to cover companies doing business in the US and the rest of the world.
- Errors and Omissions (Technology E&O) A broad definition of computer systems and information technology-related professional services are covered under the policy.
- Personal and Advertising Injury. This includes, but is not limited to: defamation, libel, slander, product disparagement, trade libel.
- Intellectual Property. Infringement of copyright (including software), domain name, trade dress, title or slogan, or the dilution or infringement of trademark, service mark, service name or trade name.
- Internet content liability.
- Breach in network security. Includes breach of security in relation to denial of service, unauthorized access, and theft of data arising from hacker attacks or a computer virus.
- Inadvertent transmission of virus or other malicious code.
- Breach of confidence or misuse of information.
